PARKLAND DUAL CREDIT
RESOURCES:
Mahomet-Seymour High School offers a number of dual credit courses through Parkland College allowing students the opportunity to earn both high school and college credit for the same course. These courses are taught by MSHS instructors as part of our regular school day at no extra cost to the student. Current dual credit options offered include:

Dual Credit Requirements
- Be 15 years old by the time the course ends
- Meet course requirements by way of SAT/ACT test scores or AccuPlacer assessment.
- Complete and submit Parkland application and dual credit application supplied by your counselor
- This will be done in the spring semester prior to your dual credit enrollment.
- See below for help completing these applications
- Complete Parkland assessment, if necessary
- The Dual Credit office will let you know if this assessment is needed. If so, you can schedule your assessment by calling the Assessment Center at 217-351-2432.
