  • The Dental Referral Program
    • The Dental Referral Program (DRP) is a collaboration between Champaign County Health Care Consumers and area dentists to provide discounted dental care to low-income, uninsured adults in the Champaign-Urbana area.
    • At the first appointment with the DRP dentist, clients are charged a fixed price of $15 and will get x-rays, an oral assessment, and a treatment plan. After this consultation, subsequent dental services will be discounted on a sliding scale of 20, 40, or 60 percent off, depending on the client’s income, and clients must pay the dental provider for services at the time of each visit.
    • CCHCC screens and qualifies the clients and schedules their dental appointments with the participating dentists.
    • To be eligible for the Dental Referral Program, you must:
      • Have no dental insurance.
      • Have an income at or below 200% of the federal poverty level (an annual income of $23,760 for one person, or $48,600 for a family of four).
    • To enroll in the Dental Referral Program or check to see if there is a waiting list please call CCHCC at (217) 352-6533 and ask to speak with someone about the Dental Referral Program.
    • In addition to the Dental Referral Program, CCHCC also provides information, assistance, referral, and advocacy services through the Client Services Program for consumers who are seeking access to dental care. If you need assistance, please call (217) 352-6533 and ask to speak to a Community Health Worker.
