AP Bridge Program

The AP Bridge program is an opportunity provided within the sophomore advisory period. Roughly 105 sophomores are participating in the experience, preparing for the 3 AP courses largely specific to their junior year -- AP Biology, AP Chemistry and AP US History. Those participating students spend two weeks with the instructor of each course mentioned above, creating 6-week cycles.

The objective is two-fold: 1) increase accessibility and enrollment in these courses, and 2) to provide students with better odds of success in these courses by easing the academic transition from sophomore to junior year.

Note: if students do not participate in the AP Bridge program, they are still eligible to enroll in these AP courses as a junior by completing the online version of the program over the summer months.
